Clinical Support Specialist Responsibilities: Clinical Support Specialist - Orlando, FL; Tampa, FLThe continuing growth of American Regent, a leading manufacturer of injectable products, has created a need for a Clinical Support Specialist to cover the Orlando and Tampa, FLorida area. The position can be based in Orlando or Tampa, FL. In this key position, you MUST HAVE at least a minimum of three years of clinical experience or equivalent with a strong background in Nephrology, Oncology or Hematology preferred. No entry level candidates will be considered. In this position, you will provide clinical support to the Sales and Marketing Departments and act as a resource for inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients and the sales force. Maintains a current knowledge of anemia and NKF-DOQI guidelines. Educates and updates sales force on clinical information pertinent to products and marketplace. Initiates and develops physician contacts. Responsible for discussing promoted products with these key contacts. Assists healthcare facilities in developing CQI programs related to anemia. Job Requirements: · Registered Nurse or Registered Pharmacist. · Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience or equivalent. · Strong communication skills in oral and written presentations. · Must be a good public speaker and motivator. · Travel is required (at least 50%), including overnights. |
